The service
The whole property, to a checklist, timed to the check-out
A move-out clean is judged against the check-in inventory. The check-out clerk works through the same list: inside the oven, behind the fridge, the top of the kitchen cupboards, the extractor filter, the grout, the skirtings, the inside of the windows. Anything missed is a deduction, and cleaning is the deduction landlords and agents raise most often.
Gold Standard Steam cleans the property to that list, room by room, with the carpets steam cleaned and dried on the same visit by the same operator. The firm is open 24 hours, so the clean can run overnight and the keys go back in the morning.
End of tenancy cleaning service
The service is a deep clean of an empty or nearly empty property to the standard a check-out inspection expects. It covers every room, every fitted appliance and every surface, top to bottom, working from the ceilings and light fittings down to the skirtings and floors so dust is not knocked onto something already cleaned. Tenants book it so the deposit comes back without a cleaning deduction; landlords and agents book it between tenancies so the check-in is clean.
What is included in the clean
Everything that is part of the property is included: kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, living rooms, hallways, cupboards, inside the windows, doors and frames, switches and sockets, radiators and skirtings. Fitted appliances are cleaned inside and out. Carpets are steam cleaned with the industrial machine and dried before we leave. Personal belongings, rubbish clearance and repairs are not cleaning and are not part of it; an empty property gets the most thorough result.

Oven, kitchen and bathroom deep cleaning
The kitchen and the bathroom are where deposits are lost. The oven is stripped down, racks and trays soaked, the glass door cleaned on both sides and the extractor filter degreased. Cupboards are emptied of crumbs and wiped inside. In the bathroom the limescale that London water leaves on taps, shower screens and around the base of the toilet is dissolved rather than scratched off, and grout is scrubbed back to its colour.
Bedrooms, living areas and hallways
Living spaces are about the details a clerk photographs: the top of the wardrobe, the inside of the built-in cupboard, the back of the radiator, the marks around the light switch and the strip of skirting behind where the sofa stood. Carpets in these rooms are the biggest single item and the one most often queried; a steam clean with the stains treated deals with it properly rather than a vacuum and a hope.
How the quote works
The price is based on the size of the property, how many bathrooms it has, whether the carpets need cleaning, and its condition. A studio that has been kept well is a different job to a four-bedroom house after a long tenancy with pets. Send the details and you get one figure for the whole clean before you book, and it does not change on the day unless you ask for extra work.
Booking, availability and move-out scheduling
Tell us the check-out date and time and the clean is scheduled to finish before it, with a margin. Because the firm is open 24 hours the clean can be done overnight or first thing, which is often the only window between the removal van leaving and the inventory clerk arriving. Keys can be collected from an agent or a key safe and returned the same way if you are not there.

What exactly is included in an end of tenancy clean?
Every room, every fitted appliance and every surface, top to bottom: kitchen and appliances inside and out, bathrooms descaled, inside windows, skirtings, doors, switches, radiators, cupboards inside and out, carpets steam cleaned and hard floors mopped. Clearing belongings or rubbish is not cleaning and is not included.
Do you clean inside the oven, fridge and cupboards?
Yes. The oven is stripped and degreased including racks, trays and the door glass. The fridge and freezer are cleaned inside, and every cupboard and drawer is emptied of crumbs and wiped inside and out.
How long does it take?
A one-bedroom flat in reasonable condition is usually half a day. A three-bedroom house with carpets throughout is a full day. Heavily soiled properties take longer and we tell you before we start rather than rushing it.
Are the carpets included?
Carpet cleaning is quoted as part of the job when you tell us the property has carpets. It is done with the same industrial steam machine we use for standalone carpet work, and the carpets are dried before we leave.
Do I need to be there?
No. Keys can be collected from an agent or a key safe and returned the same way. Many tenants have already moved out by the time the clean happens.
Can you clean overnight before a morning check-out?
Yes. Being open 24 hours is exactly what a move-out deadline needs. Tell us the check-out time and the clean is scheduled to finish before it.
How should I prepare the property?
Empty it as far as you can, take your rubbish, switch off and defrost the freezer the day before, and leave the keys and any agent contact details. The emptier the property, the more thorough the clean.
