The whole home, soft furnishings included
A deep clean is for a home that needs more than the regular routine: before a move in, after building work, after a long let, after illness, or after a winter with the windows shut. It covers everything the routine skips, from the inside of the extractor hood to the limescale under the tap and the grime along the skirting behind the sofa.
Because carpets and upholstery are the main trade, the deep clean can include the carpets steam cleaned and dried, the sofas and armchairs extracted, the curtains cleaned in place and the mattresses done, all on the same visit with the same industrial machine.
What deep cleaning includes
Every room is worked from the top down: cornices, light fittings and the tops of cupboards and wardrobes first, then walls spot-cleaned, switches, sockets, doors and frames, radiators front and back, windows inside, skirtings, and finally the floors. Kitchens and bathrooms get the appliance and descaling work described below. Then the soft furnishings: carpets, rugs, upholstery, curtains and mattresses as agreed when you booked.
How the cleaning is carried out
The operator arrives with the industrial extraction machine and a full kit of products matched to the surfaces in the house: a degreaser for the kitchen, a descaler for the bathroom, a wool-safe solution for a wool carpet, a fabric-specific one for the sofa. Hard surfaces are done first so any dust settles before the floors and fabrics are cleaned, and the extraction machine dries what it cleans, so the last rooms are usable within hours of us leaving.
How the quote works
A deep clean is priced from the size of the home, the number of bathrooms, its condition and which soft furnishings you want done. A two-bedroom flat with two sofas and carpets throughout is a different day to a five-bedroom house with hard floors. Give us that picture and you get one figure for the job before you book.

Deep Cleaning questions
How long does a deep clean take?
A one or two-bedroom flat is usually most of a day, a three or four-bedroom house a full day, longer if the soft furnishings are all being done or the property has been neglected. We tell you the plan before we start.
What is not included?
Clearing rubbish or belongings, repairs, exterior work, and anything that needs a specialist trade such as chimney sweeping or duct cleaning. Everything that is cleaning is included.
Do you bring all the products and equipment?
Yes. The operator arrives with the industrial extraction machine and a kit matched to your surfaces and fabrics. You do not need to supply anything.
Is the oven included?
Yes. The oven, hob and extractor are part of the kitchen work: racks and trays soaked, the door glass cleaned both sides, the filter degreased.
Can the sofas and mattresses be done the same day?
Yes. Carpets, upholstery, curtains and mattresses are cleaned with the same machine on the same visit.
What if the home is heavily soiled or cluttered?
Say so when you book so enough time is allowed. A neglected property takes longer and may need two operators; we would rather plan for it than rush it. Clutter is worked around, but the clearer the surfaces, the better the result.
