Gold Standard Steam is a carpet and upholstery cleaning business. Most of the work is living rooms, stairs, hallways, sofas, armchairs, curtains and mattresses in homes across Harrow and north-west London, plus carpets in offices, shops and communal hallways cleaned outside opening hours.
The method is hot water extraction with industrial equipment: a pre-spray to loosen the soil, agitation so it reaches the base of the pile, hot water under pressure, and immediate extraction that pulls the dirt and the moisture back out together. It is why a room cleaned in the afternoon is usable the same evening, and why a smell goes with the dirt instead of being masked.
Window cleaning, end of tenancy cleaning and deep cleaning are offered alongside the carpet work. Each has its own page, and all four can be booked as one job.
